This is a great book.I had already done a lot of research online and by going to seminars, and I still learned a lot from this book!The author presents the information in "chronological order" - and covers what you'll need to know about the standard pre-op processes, the surgery itself, the recovery time, and then the rest of your life.And everything in between too!There are even sample diets for what to eat in the weeks after surgery.

Each of the sections is highlighted by personal stories from others who have experienced what he is talking about.They make the book easy to read and you will look forward to seeing what some other "real person" experienced.There are also highlights from psychologists and others who give a good perspective for why the process works how it does.

You will learn a lot from this book and it gives you some good perspective for the whole pre-op process.For the money, this is a great bet!It's easy to read and you won't regret it.
