Well, he lost over 200 pounds! How I admire him. I feel I've accomplished climbing Mt. Everest when I lost twenty. Katzoff understands how critical motivation is. He knows that when we're trying to lose or manage weight, we need constant help. Most of the time, however, we don't have a personal trainer to motivate us --- or anyone else.
Enter "A Bite at a Time." This wonderful book has all the motivation you'll need. You can read one or two pages a day or as you need them. First there is a quote from a famous person. Then a couple easy-to-read pages by Katzoff. He gives his take on the quote as it relates to weight loss and management and our deep feelings and needs.
Let me make this clear. The author has been through it. He has lost more weight and had a bigger struggle than most who read this book will ever have. So the words he writes are from experience. And that's the very best teacher.
If you want and need motivation in your weight loss or weight management program, this is a must-read. Keep it by your easy chair or wherever you land. Read a page or two daily or as you need it. The book is the missing part of a weight loss program and I highly recommend it to you.
