Twerski does not examine what we eat, but rather thereasons behind what we eat. He does not "preach" nor blame you but lifts your spirit and encourages you to care for yourself as a means topermanant weight loss.(He sites the main reason for any compulsion is alack of self-esteem.) He explores ways to cope with everyday life andsitutations that can lead to overeating.This is refreshing and rare inbooks of the genre.I have found itpersonally very helpful.A book toread time and time again.
" Thin You" is filled with insightthat can only come from someone who understands the compulsivemind. Ireccomend it as a solid book of advise for anyone regardless of theireating disposition.It is gentle but honest wisdom everyone can use.
